About National Mailing Services

BRIEF HISTORY AND OVERVIEW

National Mailing Services (NMS) has been serving the Atlanta and surrounding business community since 1976. The original company, founded in 1973, was named Data Capture Services and catered to companies requiring specialized data processing; however, requests to handle statements and other mailing-related items soon overshadowed the original direction of the firm and National Mailing was born. Since then, we have established a reputation for reliability and unmatched service standards. While many competitors consistently fall short of their promises, NMS recognizes the tremendous importance of timely and accurate performance. We believe that the best way to promote new sales and growth is to provide superior service to our clients; in fact, over half of all new sales during the last 10 years have been the result of customer referrals. NMS has enjoyed steady growth since its inception, mostly because of an unwavering commitment to our clients. Today, NMS operates a 40,000 square foot facility near the Atlanta Main Post Office and processes several million pieces of mail each month. We are fully insured and stand behind our work. We value honesty & integrity, and we always place the needs of the customer first.

NMS is owned by the Spencer family. Long before the retirement of the company founder (Johnny Spencer), his two sons (Jace and Jeff) have personally overseen the daily operations of the company. The company obsession with customer service and satisfaction is an outgrowth of this closely-knit family foundation (having a group of talented and dedicated employees doesn't hurt, either!)
